How to apply for your child's passport

You apply using the standard passport application form, but you must also submit several supporting documents:

• Child's Documentation:

  • Birth Certificate

  • B-Form (National Identity Card for Children)

  • Family Registration Certificate (FRC)

  • Copies of prenatal hospital scans

  • Recent photos of the child with the family

• Parental and Family Documentation (Additional Documents):

  • Parents' Marriage Certificate

  • Photocopies of all pages of both parents' British passports

  • Grandparents' passport copies may also be required, depending on the specific Western country's requirements for first-time applicants born abroad.
